The long delayed reopening of The Hall of Presidents at Disney World in Orlando, will be over when President Trump debuts with the other 44 presidents at the legendary show on Tuesday, Dec. 19.
The show closed in January 2017, because there was a delay in getting the audio from President Trump.
Traditionally the presidents actually record their own voice over for the attraction.
The attraction was supposed to reopen in the summer of 2017.
But after rumors of Trump not having a speaking role, he does and says, “Above all, to be American is to be an optimist — to believe that we can always do better — and that the best days of our great nation are still ahead of us,” Trump concludes. “It’s a privilege to serve as the President of the United States, to stand here among so many great leaders of our past, and to work on behalf of the American people.”
The Hall of Presidents opened at the Magic Kingdom in 1972 and has undergone refurbishments every time a new President is elected.
The Hall of Presidents features animatronic representations of every chief executive who has served the country. Behind the presidents sits a panoramic, 180-degree screen that shows guests two centuries of moments that defined America.
The attraction will be open during the busy holiday season at the Magic Kingdom.
