Celebrity products have historically been exceptionally terrible. From Jessica Simpson's edible cosmetics to Danny DeVito's Limoncello, there have certainly been more bad ideas than good.

But over the last few years we've seen some of the biggest trends in fashion come out of celebrity-backed or even celebrity-designed shoes, dresses and makeup. Prior to a few years ago this would've been a parody list, but now you can safely buy your significant other a celebrity product without it being Carlos Santana high heels.

Kylie Costmetics by Kylie Jenner

You know this is going to be on the list so we might as well get it out of the way.

What first started with lip kits has spawned a line of successful beauty products of all colors including blush and concealer. Bonus points because the packaging is kind of rad looking.

Say what you will about the Kardashians, but the empire they've created is something at which to marvel, with Kylie's cosmetics line poised to become a billion dollar company.

Fabletics by Kate Hudson

The "Almost Famous" actress co-founded Fabletics in 2013 as a luxury workout brand, and despite the cheesy name, the outfits feature some cool designs available in tons of colors.

Fabletics also offers a monthly membership program with huge discounts on clothes.

Casamigos by George Clooney & Rande Gerber

If there's one thing celebs have gotten right, it's booze. Francis Ford Coppola has his wines, Dan Aykroyd has Crystal Skull Vodka, and these amigos have Casamigos. Named after their neighboring houses in Mexico, George and Rande came together to make one of the best-tasting tequilas around.

These bottle-and-glasses combos can be found just about everywhere and make a great last-minute gift when you're already en route to the holiday party.

Honest Company by Jessica Alba

This is a very family-focused company which results in a line of safe, trusted products with transparency in its production. Basically, Honest products are for those who understand why buying organic is important, but don't want to be a hippie about it.

The success of The Honest Company has propelled Alba to become one of America's richest entrepreneurs, with the company valued at over $1.7 billion, according to Forbes.

Beats by Dre

Beats headphones are nothing new, but since Apple bought them they’ve gone through a tech overhaul and are now some of the best wireless headphones on the market.

They’re about as ubiquitous as Apple products themselves, and combined with the reliability and functionality of Apple, it makes these one of the safest bets among higher-tier gifts.

Ivy Park by Beyoncé

Another great active wear brand, but more specifically follows the trend of '"athleisure" -- which more or less amounts to being able to wear it to a casual workplace.

The brand is named after her daughter Ivy and Parkwood Park in her hometown of Houston, aiming to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance.

Can you match these celebrities to the countries where they were born?
