As if just having a bowl of delicious, handmade ramen noodles wasn't enough, L.A.-based restaurant Hinoki + the Bird added fresh lobster to the mix.
The bowl of buttery lobster ramen comes at a steep price of $28, but the portion is generous, everything is made in-house and you get to eat an entire lobster freshly flown in from Massachusetts a few days prior. It's served with savory broth made with chicken, pork and lobster, then topped with mustard greens, cilantro, seaweed and more.
The butter lobster ramen is also topped with pork belly slices and shiitake mushroom -- then with more butter. But surprisingly, it's not too greasy; rather, it's a delicate mix of the land and the sea.
