JK Rowling defends the casting of Johnny Depp and Taylor Nikolai thinks the situation is awful

Time Magazine named “The SIlence Breakers” the person of the year, and indeed the tolerance for predators and sexual offenders in the entertainment industry is breaking. One figure however has not gotten any professional blowback for his behavior, and that is Johnny Depp. Depp, who is getting ready to star in the sequel to J.K. Rowling’s “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, — “The Crime of Grindelwalf”, has also been accused of assaulting his ex-wife Amber Heard. Fans have been calling for Depp to be cut from the film, and recently Rowling came out saying she’s comfortable and excited that Depp is a part of the film. Here to discuss the issue are the usual CircaPop hosts — Ryan Mitchell, Shira Lazar — and today’s special guest host Taylor Nikolai.

Taylor Nikolai, you may know as a social media maven, and one of the most trusted names on Snapchat. But is he ready to discuss something as weirdly sad as this!? They describe the situation as… ugly and weird. For example, Warner Bros using a part of their divorce statement is kind of some creepy garbage run amuck. Taylor says he doesn’t know what to think, because JK Rowling herself has been attacked for the statement. Taylor says he doesn’t know the details of it all, but the entire situation just seems awful. Indeed it is.
