A raging brush fire shut down California's Interstate 405 in Los Angeles early Wednesday, according to local media.
KNBC reports fire crews responded to a 6-acre brush fire near the Getty Museum just before 5 a.m. Helped by 25-mph Santa Ana winds, the fire had grown to about 50 acres by 6 a.m.
The northbound lanes of I-405 were closed, KNBC said.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The brush fire comes as a number of destructive wildfires are plaguing Southern California.
