The cake Jay Z got for his 48th birthday is insane!

Shawn Carter, Hova, Jigga...no matter what you call him today is Jay Z's 48th Birthday.

And when you are the "Best Rapper Alive," of course your birthday cake is gonna be insane!

According to NBA.com, the cake was a gift from Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment and was designed by Miriam Milord of BCakeNY in Brooklyn.

Milord spent five days designing the cake, which features butter cream frosting and an infusion of D'USSE Cognac – the spirit which is partially-owned by Carter.

On the cake, is artwork representing different stages of his musical career including his hit song ‘Story of OJ’, the covers of his albums and even his signature New York Yankees cap.

The cake was given to Jay Z at his concert at NYCB LIVE on Sunday.
