Early Sunday morning President Trump released a series of tweets critical of the FBI's reputation and investigations.
He covered topics from the Clinton probe, to the investigation into ex-national security adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, to former FBI Director James Comey tweeting "after years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters - worst in History!"
I never asked Comey to stop investigating Flynn. Just more Fake News covering another Comey lie!

On Saturday, Trump tweeted “I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!”
The president's tweets regarding Flynn changes the reasoning behind Flynn's firing and timeline regarding when he may have known that Flynn lied to the FBI.
Tainted (no, very dishonest?) FBI “agent’s role in Clinton probe under review.” Led Clinton Email probe. @foxandfriends Clinton money going to wife of another FBI agent in charge.

Additionally, Trump said a veteran FBI counterintelligence agent who was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s team investigating Russian election meddling was a “Tainted (no, very dishonest?)” agent.
After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters - worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.

In the final tweet of the series, the president was responding to reports that a veteran FBI counterintelligence agent was removed from special counsel Robert Mueller’s team investigating Russian election meddling because of anti-Trump text messages.
