A hit-and-run in NYC leaves one dead, several injured



Police say a man drove into a group of people in New York City and then fled the scene around 4:45am on Sunday.

Authorities said the those involved were at a hookah bar in Queens when two people got into a fight and stabbed each other. Police say the vehicle then hit the crowd after the dispute.

The incident left one person dead, several hurt, and one person critically injured. Police say those injured were taken to an area hospital. The two people involved in the initial stabbing dispute were in stable condition.

Police say they do not suspect terrorism and the search for the driver is ongoing.
