Put away your judging face right now, because if you don't think jumping into a massive pot of gold is fun, then you're a liar.
The pop-up of all pop-ups is called 'Happy Place' and there is no better name. This massive, interactive photo experience is an Instagram lovers dream with over 15 perfectly staged photo experiences crafted by artists to create the happiest feeling in the world.
I want to live and raise my children in a world surrounded by what makes us happy. To make this dream come true, we set out on a journey to create a special place filled with smiles and laughter for all.
Located in the Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, this warehouse turned photo gallery houses a labyrinth maze of rooms with one-of-a-kind creations like…
A candy room with 7-foot high heels made of M&Ms.
A 24ft long x 16ft wide birthday cake.
An upside-down bedroom, complete with bed, dresser, chair, toys, teddy bear, mirrors, and a chandelier.
A giant XO room with 150,000 1-inch mirror squares and 427 hand painted lips.
A bathtub with 1080 rubber duckies.
A secret garden, where you pop your head out through a secret passage surrounded by flowers.
And the aforementioned pot of gold, with 25,000 custom smiley face coins.
Of course nowhere could claim to be a happy place unless it was explicitly bad for you -- so yes, there are treats.
Not to mention there's a rainbow grilled cheese truck outside...
The experience is self-serve -- that is to say, you bring your own camera or photographer, and it'll take you a little over an hour to get every photo. But don't worry, the admission times are staggered so you'll have plenty of time to get the perfect shot.
Tickets are available now through January 7th for a pretty reasonable $30. If that sounds like a bit much to go take photos, just remember all those times you bought a themed-Frappuccino, took a photo, and threw it away.
