Liu Yifei has been cast as the new Mulan and Jenny Yang is here to discuss

White washing in Hollywood has been an issue ever since a white person played detective Charlie Chan, all the way to Scarlett Johansson playing the lead in Ghost in the Shell. Jenny Yang’s opinion is mixed. One the one hand she’s happy to see this kind of diversity and inclusion, but on the other hand, she wishes this wasn’t such a big deal. There are more important stories to discuss, she mentions. The trio then starts dreaming out loud where someone being gay or Asian is as big a deal as someone being British. Ah, to dream.
