Marvel Studios released the first trailer for 'Avengers: Infinity War'

Marvel Studios on Wednesday released the first official trailer for its upcoming superhero team-up movie, "Avengers: Infinity War," according to The Verge.

The Verge on Wednesday reported that "Infinity War" will unite most of the Marvel Comics superheroes who have appeared in 17 films related to the franchise over the last decade.

Superheroes including Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk and Spider Man will team up against Thanos, a major supervillain who first appeared in a post-credits scene from "The Avengers" in 2012.

"Infinity War" is scheduled to hit theaters on May 4, 2018, and the movie's story is considered so gamechanging for the Marvel Cinematic Universe that it will continue in a second, still-untitled "Avengers" film slated for 2019.
