The biological father of a missing 3-year-old girl said it's hard to believe nobody heard anything when she was allegedly taken Sunday night after being put to bed, our affiliate WCTI reported.
"Somebody just, walked right up in there, grabbed the three-year-old out the bed - she didn't cry, she didn't scream. Nobody heard nothing," Alex Woods explained, claiming four people were in the house at the time, including her two younger brothers.
Mariah Woods' mother reported her missing Monday morning. She lives with a boyfriend.
"Somebody just comes up and snatches the baby up and walks out?" he questioned.
Both Woods and his partner said they are hoping for the best, but right now they said something just doesn't feel right.
The FBI joined the investigation Tuesday, and searched the house where Mariah was last seen.
She is described as a 3-year-old white female, approximately 2 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 30 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes.
Law enforcement authorities have interviewed both her mother and the live-in boyfriend.
