SONIC Drive-In will pardon all turkeys just in time for Thanksgiving

Just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, SONIC Drive-In Chief Marketing Officer Lori Abou Habib announced that SONIC is pardoning all turkeys on Tuesday, November 21.

The day is known by SONIC fans as Unturkey Day, the company claims it is a “cherished holiday that is a win-win for turkeys and guests alike.”

“It is a well-known tradition to pardon a turkey on Thanksgiving, and since you won’t see a traditional turkey dinner on our menu today, our pardon extends to all the turkeys out there,” said Abou Habib. “To give these noble birds a short reprieve before Thanksgiving, consider gobbling up a Cheeseburger instead.”

For Unturkey Day, Sonic will be offering half price on SONIC Cheeseburgers all day. This offer is only available on Tuesday, November 21.
