Steph Curry is taking his basketball skills to the classroom

Steph Curry is taking his skills on the court and applying them to the classroom.

The superstar NBA basketball player just announced that he is going to teach online courses breaking down his "mechanics, drills, mental attitude, and scoring techniques," essentially what makes him a two-time MVP.

In a promotional video Curry says, "the time is now for you to start your journey to find ways to get better. That's why we're all here."

The lessons will be taught through video sessions on MasterClass and accompanied by a downloadable workbook. They will be available later this winter.

Serena Williams is another famous athlete who teaches tennis through MasterClass.

Curry and Williams are just two of a host of household names including chef Wolfgang Puck, actress Helen Mirren, comedian Steve Martin, and country singer Reba McEntire who are teaching their trade on the site.
