A hippo in Seattle is puckering up to create one of a kind artwork

A hippo kiss painting is the gift you never knew you needed. Or wanted.

Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo' creates one of kind artwork with the help of 17-year-old hippo Guadalupe, or 'Lupe' for short.

On Wednesday, zoo keepers covered Lupe's mouth with non-toxic paint while she patiently held a puckered pose. Then they gently pressed the canvas against her lips to create hippopotamus kiss paintings.

The zoo told our affiliate KOMO News that Lupe and her keepers have regular painting sessions. They said activities like these keep the animals physically and mentally stimulated.

Lupe's kiss retails for around $50-$100. The paintings will be on sale at a silent auction Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. held by the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Association of Zoo Keepers.

You can bid online here.

Proceeds benefit animal conservation efforts.
