It’s rather dystopian if you really think about it — fake news is both all over our various social media feeds, and uttered by the president to deflect from reports with very real criticism. Fake News has become a sad phrase that we equate in the current ridiculous political whirlpool we’re all sinking in, so naturally it’s time to turn it into a gosh darn game show! Here we go! Our CircaPop hosts — Ryan Mitchell and Shira Lazar are joined by special guest Frankie Greek, social media producer at Uproxx. Together they look at headlines and decide if it’s fake news… or real news!

Folks — the game is tougher than it seems! Things that seem like they could be true are fake news — but one detail is off! Things that seem outlandish end up being absolutely real! I don’t want to spoil them, but you give it a shot! I think you’ll find it’s harder than it seems… or maybe for you it’ll be easy. I don’t know what your fake news aptitude is! But watch — and play along.
