Check out this 'Coming To America'-themed pop-up restaurant in LA

As if you needed an excuse to visit Fat Sal's Deli, their Hollywood location is now a replica of "McDowell's" -- the iconic McDonald's ripoff from Eddie Murphy's 1988 classic "Coming to America."

The famous LA eatery, most known for basically shoving every diner appetizer into a sandwich, has transformed its facade and menu as a Halloween costume of sorts.

You'll notice plenty of nods to the film, including Akeem's "Employee of the Month" plaque, Soul Glo ads, and even rose pedals on the sidewalk.

The menu features McDowell's special "The Big Mick" (not Mac), as well as originals like "Zamunda Fries," and a "Sexual Chocolate Shake" which I assure you is absolutely filthy.

This two day pop-up is just the latest in a trend of novelty pop-ups that are quickly becoming staples of the LA restaurant scene. We've already seen a Star Wars-inspired cantina, and Tim Burton-themed bar called "Beetle House," both of which have become permanent additions to Hollywood Blvd.

Unfortunately we're not likely to see a permanent McDowell's though, so make sure you head down to McDowell's on Halloween day before it's gone for good.
