A gator was pulled out of a clogged underground pipe in Florida

Looks like this construction pipe obstruction required more than a plumber.

A construction crew in Martin County, Florida, watched a muddy five-foot gator get pulled out of a large underground pipe, the Martin County Sheriff's Office said. The crew was working on a project along Southwest Andalucia Court and Southwest Farm Road Monday at 11 a.m. when they came across the gator.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) was immediately notified.

However, capturing the gator was no easy feat. It initially tried to elude workers by running into a pipe on the site, according to the Sheriff's Office. FWC notified a local trapper, who was able to successfully remove the gator.

No injuries were reported.
