As the holiday season approaches, online retailers are beefing up their staffs to make sure Santa will be able to deliver presents by Christmas.
Amazon announced Thursday that it will be hiring 120,000 seasonal workers in the U.S. to deal with the holiday shopping season, according to Reuters.
The seasonal jobs will be spread out over more than 75 fulfillment centers nationwide to help pick, pack, and ship holiday orders.
The e-commerce giant also said it expects to convert thousands of those seasonal positions into full-time positions.
The National Retail Federation predicts shoppers in the U.S. will spend between $678.75 billion and $682 billion on holiday shopping in 2017.
