"Oblivion Song" will be released in March 2018, but Robert Kirkman is giving the New York Comic Con audience a preview.
Kirkman, creator of the massive global franchise, "The Walking Dead," co-created this new comic with artist Lorenzo De Felici. The two have been working on this project for more than a year now.
The story follows a dimension-jumping agent determined to rescue some of the 300,000 Philadelphians who disappeared 10 years ago into a parallel world called Oblivion.
We spoke to Kirkman about the new book and how, because of its massive success, "The Walking Dead" influences his work now.
The first issue of "The Walking Dead" comic was released 14 years ago this month. We asked Kirkman which of all the iterations of "The Walking Dead" out there now -- spin-offs, video games, merch, novels, etc. -- is his favorite. His answer? The shampoo. Watch the video, we're not lying.
Circa is going to be covering New York Comic Con from Oct. 5 to Oct. 8. Take a look at our preview.
