Soccer star Alex Morgan was among a group of four people that was recently ejected from Disney World’s Epcot Center in Bay Lake, Florida, according to TMZ Sports.
TMZ Sports on Tuesday reported that Morgan, a member of the U.S. women’s national team, was involved in an incident in the amusement park last Sunday.
Major League Soccer (MLS) players Giles Barnes and Donny Toia were also removed, as was the latter’s wife, Courtney Toia.
“These are the individuals that were trespassed from Disney on Oct. 1st,” the Orange County Sheriff’s Department (OCSD) said.
The Orlando Sentinel on Tuesday reported that no charges were filed in connection with the incident after the athletes and their companions exited the park.
Epcot managers called deputies to trespass several individuals who were “impaired and verbally aggressive,” according to an Orange County Sheriff’s Office incident report.
“They were all being very loud and belligerent toward staff around guests,” a deputy wrote of the encounter.
“I observed a white female, who was later identified as Alexandria Morgan yelling, screaming and taking (sic) video and possibly pictures,” the deputy added. “She appeared to be highly impaired.”
The report said Barnes cut in front of another guest inside Epcot’s United Kingdom pub before ultimately getting into a verbal argument with them.
The deputies were called back to escort out the remaining group members after Barnes’ ouster, the report noted.
The account added that a deputy heard Morgan “make a loud verbal statement” that she knows the Orlando, Florida SWAT team.
Morgan posted a group photo on Instagram before the incident. "Annual around the world in 8 hours. No big," the caption read.
Some Twitter users on Wednesday commented upon the incident involving Morgan, who is 28 years old.
