During the latest press conference on Tuesday afternoon, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said all but three victims have been identified. He also said Paddock's girlfriend remains a person of interest.

Paddock "continued to fire at a progressive successive rate for approximately nine minutes" after authorities received a 911 call, Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said.

Officials also noted that some of the victims were trampled while running from gunfire. Police found some dead bodies outside the festival grounds, indicating victims continued running after they were shot.

The man behind the recent mass shooting in Las Vegas wired $100,000 to an account in his live-in girlfriend’s home country of the Philippines before the attack.

On Tuesday, NBC News reported that Stephen Paddock, 64, made the transaction last week before he opened fire on an outdoor concert last Sunday.

Multiple senior law enforcement officials told NBC News that Marilou Danley, 62, journeyed to Hong Kong on Sept. 25.

Danley was then in the Philippines last Sunday when Paddock began what would become the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

Some Twitter users on Tuesday speculated on what insight Paddock’s transaction might reveal about the motivation behind his actions.

Danley is repprtedly scheduled to return to the U.S. Wednesday.

Investigators believe Danley and Paddock began dating in spring 2017 and lived together in Mesquite, Nevada.

Las Vegas Sheriff Joe Lombardo on Monday said that Danley was not believed to involved in the massacre the night before “at this time.”

“We have had conversations with her and we believed her, at this time, not to be involved,” he said. “But obviously that investigation will continue.”

“She was not with [Paddock] when he checked in,” Lombardo added of the gunman’s hotel room in Las Vegas. “We have discovered he was utilizing some of her identification.”

Danley was originally thought to be traveling with Paddock in Las Vegas when he began shooting upon a country music event there.

Paddock targeted the concert from his 32nd floor room in the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, killing at least 59 people and wounding at least 527 more.

Police officers responding to the incident eventually found Paddock dead inside his room with 23 firearms.

These are the worst mass shootings of the last 10 years.
