CBS fired a VP who labeled country music fans 'Republican gun toters' after Las Vegas

A CBS lawyer has reportedly been relieved of her duties for comments allegedly posted from her Facebook account related to the massacre in Las Vegas, our affiliate WZTV reported.

According to FOX News, Hayley Geftman-Gold, Vice President and Senior Counsel for CBS was let go after her response to the shooting in Las Vegas that left 58 dead and over 500 injured.

In a screenshot shared by FOX News and being circulated on social media, Geftman-Gold allegedly stated she was "not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are republican gun toters."

Geftman-Gold was responding on a Facebook thread about the mass shooting, the post stating "If they wouldn't do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that the Repugs will ever do the right thing."

FOX News says a spokesman for CBS told the network "this individual" violated company standards and called her views "unacceptable to all of us at CBS."
