At a time when mass shootings have become nearly commonplace, large groups of people, gathering for enjoyment and entertainment, not political or military action, have become more frequent targets.
One of the worst mass shootings in modern U.S. history occurred in Las Vegas on October 1. (UPDATED) A gunman killed at least 58 people and injured over 500 more in the final moments of the Route 91 Harvest Festival. The bill featured country music superstars like Jason Aldean, who was onstage when the gunman's shots rang out. Here are some of the immediate reactions from the entertainment industry.
