Yujia Hu has made an art out of sushi. From sushi sneakers to sushi rappers, you have never seen sushi that looks this good. Check out this video and see how many rappers, National Basketball Association (NBA) players and fashion icons you can identify.
Born in China, Yujia has lived in Italy since 1996. He started making sushi when he was 18 years old, working at his family restaurant in Milan.
After four years of art school, Yujia figured out a way to bring art into his career. Wanting to do something different for the restaurant, he started experimenting with the sushi and finally made his first creation -- a sushi version of DJ Steve Aoki.
Living in Milan, Yuijia attributes Instagram to being the reason for his success internationally. As his Instagram popularity has grown, he has been commissioned by artists, footwear designers and even NBA players for parties, events and just some Instagram love.
While his creations are mainly male at the moment, he is working on getting some ladies into his collection. As he mentioned in his interview with Circa, the beards are easier to create with the seaweed, while females are a little more difficult. Who was his first female inspiration? The iconic Frida Kahlo.
His creations are a true work of art, so take a look at some of these.
