MTV's TRL is finally back and Ed Sheeran will be there to kick it off

After nine years off the air, the day is almost here. MTV's "Total Request Live" (TRL) comes back October 2 and Ed Sheeran and Migos will be the first guests.

The show will air weekdays at 3:30 p.m. ET. Most people will be watching from home, but those who were luck enough to score free tickets to the premiere acted appropriately on Twitter.

MTV also announced the guests for October 3 and 4, which will include Noah Cyrus and Demi Lovato.

MTV President had announced the reboot of TRL in July, which was a music-video television show that ran for 10 years and ended in 2008. It was originally hosted by Carson Daly, who left the show in 2003.
