'Let's Make a Deal' game show host and philanthropist Monty Hall died Saturday morning at the age of 96.
His daughter, Sharon Hall says her father died of heart failure at his home in Beverly Hills, California.
Hall is well known for co-creating the hit show "Let's Make a Deal" which aired on NBC in 1963. The show involved selected members of the audience deciding whether to keep or exchange an item with the host.
His daughter estimated that Hall raised nearly $1 billion for charity over his lifetime.
