Former President Barack Obama joined Prince Harry for a surprise appearance at the U.S. versus France Invictus Games wheelchair basketball match on Friday.
Obama was accompanied by Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden at the match. Obama wrote on Twitter: "Proud to cheer on Team USA at the Invictus Games today with my friend Joe. You represent the best of our country."
Obama's visit comes a week after first lady Melania Trump led the US delegation to the Games' opening ceremony. Later on, she met with Prince Harry and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Last year, Michelle Obama headlined the opening ceremony at the 2016 Invictus Games in Orlando with Prince Harry.
