2019 is shaping up to be an awesome year for movies.
With Star Wars Episode IX, Toy Story 4, and Spider-Man Homecoming 2 all releasing in two years, the IT sequel will be in good company. Though it may not be in the company of the movie’s original cast.
IT actor Chosen Jacobs, who plays the newest addition to the Losers Club “Mike Hanlon,” stopped by Circa’s new daily Facebook live show, Circa Pop Live, as the release date for the sequel was announced to talk about who should play him in the untitled follow-up.
To be honest, Will Smith is a pretty big ask, but solid choices otherwise. I’d love to see Chadwick Boseman take a break from playing Black Panther for Marvel to star in a horror movie.
If you don’t know, the original Stephen King novel jumps 27 years after their initial encounter with Pennywise the (demon) clown, as the survivors return to Derry to finish the job.

Reports have been swirling that the kids will have cameos by way of flashbacks, but Chosen isn’t giving up whether or not we’ll see Mike and his sheep-killing bolt gun back in action.
