Cardi B made history as 'Bodak Yellow' rose to the top of the Billboard Hot 100

Cardi B is the first female rapper to make it to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart without the help of another credited artist in nearly 19 years.

Her debut hit "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)" rose to the number one spot on the latest chart. Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" fell to No. 3 after three weeks in the No. 1 spot.

Cardi B is only the second female rapper ever to rise to the top of the chart without any other billed artists. The last singer to do so was Lauryn Hill, whose "Doo Wop (That Thing)" propelled her to fame in November 1998.

More generally, Cardi B sits along four female rappers who have led the Hot 100 list.
