Just when you think you've seen it all, a raccoon decides to land on your windshield.

Well, at least that was the case for Colorado Springs police officer Christopher Frabbiele, who was responding to the scene of a wreck late Wednesday night when a raccoon jumped onto the front windshield of his vehicle.

Images released from the thrill-seeking raccoon's joyride show him clinging to the windshield.

Police spokesman Lt. Howard Black told The Denver Post that the raccoon hopped off the vehicle after Frabbiele pulled over.

“It’s safe to say a raccoon hopping is not a common occurrence," Black told The Denver Post.
