After a serious hiatus, The Script gets serious about new music

The men of The Script, Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power, swear they did not miss each other while their band took a nice long break. They all went their separate ways as they'd been touring and writing and recording together for nearly the past ten years. They said they needed some time alone.

The Script has been one of the most popular European bands around for quite some time and even if they didn't miss each other, their fans surely missed them.

They're now back with their fifth studio album and they're tackling some of the biggest issues they ever have.

Perhaps they got super serious because the fate of their band was seriously in jeopardy. Frontman, Danny O'Donoghue, learned during their break that his vocal cords were in need of surgery. Luckily, after two separate surgeries, he's back to 100%, possibly even 110%. He told us there are some high notes he's now hitting that he never could before. For a band whose current single is "Rain," that's quite a silver lining.
