Boxer Jake LaMotta, the real-life 'Raging Bull,' has died at 95

Jake LaMotta, the former boxing champion played by Robert De Niro in the 1980 film "Raging Bull," has died at 95.

LaMotta died Tuesday at a Miami-area hospital due to complications from pneumonia, according to his fiancee, Denise Baker.

"The Bronx Bull" complied a record of 83-19-4 in a career that spanned from 1941 to 1954 and was knocked down only once in his 106 fights.

"Raging Bull," based on LaMotta's memoir, was nominated for eight Academy Awards, and DeNiro won the Oscar for Best Actor.
