Every iteration of pot something is trendy right now, so it should come as no surprise that pot cocktails are now a thing. A popular thing, too, showing up on menus of trendy restaurants in many major metropolitan cities.
To be clear, pot cocktails that are made with CBD oil don’t actually get you high. THC is the stuff that makes you float, but CBD oil does provide the same benefits of cannabis as THC. Gracias Madre, in West Hollywood, was one of the first restaurants in L.A. to incorporate CBD oil into their cocktails.
There are four pot cocktails on the menu, all with clever names and kitschy cute garnishes, under the menu headline "High Vibes". There’s the Stoney Negroni (featured in the video), the Sour T-Issel (also featured), the Stoned Fruit, and Rolled Fashioned. Do you taste the CBD oil? Not at all, it's just there to add a little depth to the effect of the cocktail itself (and at Gracias Madre, they're gooood). But take a look at menus in the major cities, you'll probably see these pot cocktails yourself.
Something tells us this is a lasting trend.
