Kristen Bell entertains Irma evacuees at Orlando hurricane shelter


Actress Kristen Bell entertained Hurricane Irma evacuees by performing for shelter residents in Florida on Sunday.

The actress, who was filming "Like Father" in Florida, was staying at the Walt Disney World hotel as Hurricane Irma pummeled down on the state.

Bell decided to visit people staying at a local middle school-turned-shelter, and put on a mini-show performance.

In a video clip, Bell can be heard telling the families, "I hope maybe some of these songs are running through your head the rest of the day and will take your mind off of it (the hurricane)."

Kristen also shared a video clip of the performance on her Instagram page with the caption "When ur #singinginahurricane, your volunteer back up dancers can & will steal the show (sic).Richard&Rebecca everyone!! #HurrcaneIrma #Irma2017"

People appaulded her performance. One person wrote on Twitter "Thank you @IMKristenBell for stopping by today! @DrFritzler_OCPS @DrTrimble_OCPS @BethSharpeFL."

Hurricane Irma made landfall in southern Florida early Sunday morning, and has weakened to a Category 3 storm.
