This man shared haunting photos inside an abandoned high school in Flint, Michigan

Michigan resident Travis James told FOX66/NBC25 News that over the last 10 years, it's been his hobby to take photos of abandoned places in Flint and Detroit.

Flint Central High School first opened its doors in 1923 and remained one of the oldest and most beloved schools in the community until the board of education closed it’s doors in 2009.

They blamed declining enrollment and growing maintenance costs from water damage.

Several other schools around Flint have closed in recent years, all of which were elementary schools.

Earlier this year, the Flint School Board discussed demolishing the school but has not yet made a decision.
