Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell was rushed to the hospital hours before a scheduled concert in Memphis on Thursday.
Harwell, 50, was reportedly suffering from the effects of cardiomyopathy, a condition he's had for two years, reports TMZ.
Cardiomyopathy is a heart muscle disease that makes it difficult for the organ to deliver blood to the body. The "All Star" singer had reportedly had not been feeling well for the past four days.
New Daisy Theatre canceled the concert on Thursday and wrote, "Due to an emergency illness with a member of the band, tonight's show is now canceled."
The group told TMZ that Harwell will be able to perform on Friday in Edwardsville, Illinois.
