President Trump retweeted a 'best eclipse ever' image showing his face blocking Obama's

President Donald Trump retweeted a meme Thursday morning captioned “The Best Eclipse Ever!,” our local affiliate KATU reported.

In the meme, a photo montage shows Trump gradually covering former President Barack Obama. He retweeted the post around 8:30 a.m. Eastern time.

Twitter user @JerryTravone originally posted the meme. In his bio, Travone describes himself as a YouTube actor and political junkie.

He says he’s a “Proud Trump supporter and pushback against liberalism.”

The meme is an inverse of one posted on Instagram Monday by @thefatjewish that shows Obama's face eclipsing Trump's. The meme read, "the only eclipse i want to see today..." and the caption said, "BLACK IS THE NEW ORANGE?"

Trump also tweeted Thursday morning, “The Fake News is now complaining about my different types of back to back speeches.”

He said his Afghanistan speech was somber, the Arizona rally was enthusiastic, and the speech at the American Legion was respectful and strong. He then said Democrats don’t have anyone who can change tones.
