"Big Little Lies" star Shailene Woodley just joined the list of celebrities considering a run for public office.
In an interview with The New York Times, Woodley said she's considering running for Congress in a few years.
"There was a point last year when I was working for Bernie Sanders where I thought, ‘Huh, maybe I’ll run for Congress in a couple years,'” the 25-year-old told the newspaper. “And you know what? I’m not going to rule it out. Who knows? Life is big, and I’m young.”
Woodley was arrested in October while protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline. She chronicled her time on the ground there in a series of Facebook Live videos.
The star penned a firsthand account of her arrest that was published by Time.
Woodley isn't the only celebrity tossing a hat in the ring. Kid Rock and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson have also hinted that they are considering running for political office in the future.
