Thanks to Instagram, desserts have become works of art. From crazy milkshakes to doughnut ice cream sandwiches, from cake pops to unicorn everything, food porn has taken over all our feeds. However, just when we thought we have seen it all, Ruimilk, in Flushing, Queens, has taken cotton candy to another supercute level.
The menu at Ruimilk consists of several different cotton candy creatures which top their delicious soft serve ice cream. After deciding between the red velvet or vanilla ice cream flavors, you can choose a panda, minion, chicky, hello kitty, baymax or even a thunder bomb as your topping.
Nian Geng Lin, of Fuzhou, China, is the owner and creator of these beautiful treats. Inspired by the cotton candy spinning trend in South Korea, he not only decided to bring it to New York but give it a twist.
In addition to cotton candy art, Ruimilk also serves up Galaxy drinks. They are colorful, refreshing and contain a bright flashing light so they resemble the skylines of the iconic world cities they're named after.
And, if you are craving even more delicious (and totally grammable) summer soft serve, check out this Japanese street treat at Taiyaki in NYC.
