Patients at the B.C. Children's Hospital in Vancouver, Canada, got quite the surprise Monday when Captain Jack Sparrow from "Pirates of the Caribbean" paid them a visit.
Actor Johnny Depp showed up to the hospital dressed in his full costume and posed for photos with the children being treated there. CTV News reports that he was even challenged to a few foam-sword duels.
"I have no sword, I come in peace," Depp joked, according to Good Morning America.
The hospital posted a photo on Instagram of one of their patients with Captain Jack Sparrow and wrote, "Actor Johnny Depp showed he has a heart of gold by spending more than 5 hours meeting one-on-one with every patient, from newborns to teens."
A hospital spokeswoman told Good Morning America that Depp contacted the hospital a few weeks prior to see if he could swing by while filming nearby.
This isn't the first time Depp has surprised children at a hospital. In 2015, he stopped by a hospital in Australia while he was there filming the most recent "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie.
