It was Rose, with the handbag... on the lanai, obvs. Time to play Clue: 'Golden Girls' edition

From 1985 to 1992, "The Golden Girls" was one of the highest rated shows on television and still commands a decent audience in syndication and on digital platforms. I mean, when Hulu added the entire series back in February of this year you could practically hear "Thank You for Being a Friend" blaring out the windows of homes and apartments in towns all over America.

So, if you're one of the fans of Dorothy, Blanche, Rose and Sophia and need even more Golden Girls in your life, run out an buy the newest edition of classic family board game Clue.

We asked to take over the weekly game night thrown by the grandmother of Veronica, one our producers and have them play and review the game. These four ladies were fans of the show but had never played Clue before.

After a bit of a learning curve, the ladies got into it and began getting more ruthless. Some rules were heeded, some not so much. Eventually the numbers rolled on the dice meant nothing and characters were just magically appearing all over the house. You'd think we were playing a different iteration of the game...

And, just so you know, there are many other versions of the game, as well. So, if you like television shows and board games, like our ladies do, grab a couple and have a little fun. We're thinking of taking this over for the next game night and seeing how that goes!
