The driver of a Volkswagen and three passengers barely escaped tragedy on Monday after their car plowed through a railroad gate in Poland as a high-speed train came barreling down the tracks.
Different angles of surveillance footage show the rail barriers draw to a close. Seconds later a driver--seemingly unaware of its presence--plowed through the gates.
A silver of a second later, a high-speed train caught the tail-end of the car. No injuries were reported.
After the driver, identified by police as a 48-year-old woman, crosses the railroad tracks, the passengers of the car quickly get out of the car.
The Polish driver was ultimately slapped with a $140 fine.
