'The Mooch' made one last appearance on Comedy Central's 'The President Show'

In real life, former White House communications chief Anthony Scaramucci bid the Oval Office farewell after just 10 days. However, if you watched Thursday's episode of Comedy Central's "The President Show," you know he never really left.

During the show, Anthony Atamanuik's Donald Trump was lamenting the loss of the "only man he ever loved," only to be happily surprised when Mario Cantone's Scaramucci popped out of the Oval Office couch, revealing that he had been sleeping in the piece of furniture since his supposed departure.

After a stand off with the show's version of Steve Bannon, "The Mooch" and Trump shared a passionate goodbye kiss before the former hedge fund magnate was dragged out of the room by a giant hand.

The loss of Cantone's portrayal has been felt by many lovers of political comedy, especially those missing Melissa McCarthy's portrayal of Sean Spicer.
