Here are ten things that outlasted Anthony Scaramucci's White House career

Anthony Scaramucci is out after just ten days as White House communications director.

A statement from the White House said "Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team. We wish him all the best."

Some reports suggested Kelly, who was at the White House for his first day as chief of staff, gave Scaramucci the boot.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters Monday that President Trump was upset with comments Scaramucci made in a phone call to New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza.

Here are ten things that lasted longer than Scaramucci's job at the White House.

1. Kim Kardashian's marriage to Kris Humphries.

The reality TV star filed for divorce after just 72 days of marriage. Unfortunately for Scaramucci, the White House nuptials ended before the honeymoon even began.

2. The Tour de France

The race lasts about 3 weeks, meaning cyclist have biked for longer than Scaramucci had his job.

3. The Olympic games

Olympic athletes compete in the games for 35 days every four years. Scaramucci fought hard, but he didn't medal.

4. William Henry Harrison's presidency

Harrison died just one month after his inauguration. He had the shortest presidency of all, but he still lasted longer in the White House than "the Mooch."

5. The Cuban Missile Crisis

The 13-day standoff between the U.S. and the Soviet Union over Cuba was only slightly more tumultuous than Scaramucci's ten days in office.

6. A monarch butterfly

These beautiful and fragile insects have an average life-span of two to six weeks. Scaramucci had his wings clipped a few days short of that.

7. A gallon of milk

If Scaramucci bought a jug of milk the day before he took over as communications director, it's probably still good.

8. The common cold

The pesky illness can be contagious for up to three weeks. Unfortunately for Scaramucci, he's not contagious in the White House.

9. The Washington D.C. cherry blossoms

The pink blooms attract millions of visitors to the nation's capitol every spring, but they only last about two weeks. Unfortunately, Scaramucci wont be around to see them.

10. A free Amazon Prime 30-day trial

Ten days is enough time to stream at least one season of The West Wing. Now Scaramucci will have plenty of time to catch up on the entire series.
