White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci blasted chief of staff Reince Priebus in a profanity-laden interview published Thursday.
“Reince is a f------ paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac,” he told reporter Ryan Lizza for a Thursday New Yorker article.
“They’ll all be fired by me,” Scaramucci continued in the phone call late Wednesday, referencing the White House communications team. “I fired one guy the other day.”
“I have three to four people I’ll fire tomorrow. I’ll get the person who leaked that to you. Reince Priebus – if you want to leak something – he’ll be asked to resign very shortly.”
Some Twitter users on Thursday voiced shock at Scaramucci’s tirade against Priebus and other officials in President Trump’s administration.
Scaramucci was reportedly furious that Lizza discovered he planned on dining with Trump, Fox News host Sean Hannity and former Fox News co-president Bill Shine at the White House.
The former Wall Street financier purportedly blamed Priebus, whom he has feuded with for months, for Lizza knowing about the meal.
Scaramucci also derided White House chief strategist Steve Bannon during his explosive interview with Lizza.
“I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own c—k,” he said of the former Breitbart News chairman.
“I’m not trying to build my own brand off the f----- strength of the president. I’m here to serve the country.”
Scaramucci has vowed to root out the source of leaks in Trump’s administration that have given the media sensitive information.
“What I want to do is I want to f----- kill all the leakers, and I want to get the president’s agenda on track so we can succeed for the American people,” he said.
“What I’m going to do is, I will eliminate everyone in the comms team and we’ll start over,” Scaramucci added.
