Sean Spicer recently stepped down as White House press secretary, but his high-profile television appearances might be far from over.
Politico, citing two sources, reported that ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" has expressed interest in having Spicer join the show. ABC declined to comment on its casting for the upcoming season.
Spicer wouldn't be the first political figure to compete on the show. Energy Secretary Rick Perry was voted off after the second week last year in Season 23.
Sources told Politico that Spicer met with ABC’s news division, as well as representatives from CBS, NBC and Fox, in New York on Wednesday. Some of the meetings were about a "contributor-style position," while others were less formal.
Some were excited about the possibility of Spicer dancing.
