Netflix is teaming up with 'The Simpsons' creator on a new series

Netflix has teamed up with Matt Groening, the mastermind behind "The Simpsons," to make a new “adult animated comedy fantasy series."

The streaming service has already ordered 20 episodes of the new series dubbed "Disenchantment."

"Disenchantment" will take place in "the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools."

Abbi Jacobson ("Broad City"), Nat Faxon ("Friends from College") and Eric Andre ("The Eric Andre Show") will be voicing characters in the new series.

The new Netflix show will premiere 10 episodes at a time beginning in 2018, according to the AV Club.

Groening said "Disenchantment" will focus on "how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots."

So, yeah, get pumped.
