The Albert Einstein Estate corrected an old Ivanka Trump tweet that misquoted the physicist

It's official, you definitely don't want to misquote the world's most well-known theoretical physicist.

That's a lesson Ivanka Trump learned the hard way on Monday when a representative of the Albert Einstein Estate pointed out that she had misquoted the genius in a 2013 tweet.

Ivanka Trump had quoted Einstein in a tweet that read, "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts."

Well, unfortunately, that's not something Einstein said and an estate representative quickly pointed that out when the tweet resurfaced over the weekend.

"We can confirm that Albert Einstein never said this quote," the Albert Einstein Estate tweeted. But luckily, the representative also suggested a reliable place for anyone searching for an Einstein quote.
