Kill'em all! Remember Paul Verhoeven's 1997 propaganda film disguised as an action film? Today it turns 20. It was released in theaters on Nov. 7, 1997 and starred Casper Van Dien and Dina Meyer. Both those actors lend their voices to the latest animated feature "Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars." When the original debuted it was seen as extremely violent (as were most of Verhoeven's films) and it only grossed $55 million. But it led to numerous sequels and video games. Some loved the crazy action, some loved the campiness and violence, but "Starship Troopers" was definitely an original.
Ed and Casper also discussed filming their favorite scene and the violence in the film.
